For starters, the weather in Michigan can be more than a bit unpredictable. I picked a day that was supposed to be a bit cloudy but no rain, and what happened? The only downpour this week.
But the real reason I was scared is that kids, especially boys, have so much crazy energy I didn't know if I could keep up with them, let alone snap their pictures!
So I chased them around the park a bit, and took solo pictures of them in the order in which they reached a certain bridge. When I had them alone, they were awesome!
I am so thrilled with how well these boys did, and with how the photos turned out. Their mother and I are making plans to photograph the whole family later this summer, and I can't wait!
Oh wow, I hadn't realized there were so many of them! Very classy portraits; totally mantle-worthy.
